Friday, November 9th is AmeriCorps Opening Day in Massachusetts, the day where hundreds of AmeriCorps members across the state are beginning their terms of service and working their way to becoming AmeriCorps Alums!
In honor of continued commitment to community service, we invite alums to welcome the new Director of AmeriCorps, Bill Basl, to Boston for a networking event at Lir on Boylston from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm. Prior to his recent appointment by the Corporation for National and Community Service, Bill served as the Executive Director for the Washington Commission for National and Community Service.
The Boston Alums Chapter is excited to host Bill for this special event. Please stop by to meet our guest of honor and network with fellow alums. Please spread the word to your AmeriCorps Alum friends!
